Eyes on Camera

With our new means of video communication, how do we maintain and manage our eye contact? Here are some tips so that your audience knows you are engaged and interested.

Alternate looking at the camera/webcam and the person in the video call window.  It helps to move the Zoom window to the part of the screen nearest to your camera so at least you’re looking at approximately the right place when you’re looking at their face. When it is your turn to speak, look into your webcam. Look UP into the camera- not down. Ensure your desk top or laptop is positioned properly for this. This will help you connect with your audience and maintain there attention. infinitespeech.com
